Puppy Playschool
(Wednesday evenings)
For puppies under 4 months. Puppy class is all about preventing problems later in life.
Informal, relaxed weekly class where puppies learn how to greet other dogs and people calmly. Any puppy playtime will be carefully monitored between well matched individuals, we don’t allow ‘free for all’ play sessions but aim to build up confidence or teach self control where appropriate and each puppy’s needs will be carefully assessed. Time given to discuss normal puppy issues like Play biting, House training, and Socialisation. Advice on toys and equipment. Handling exercises. Basic training including sit, Down, Come and leave. Confidence building exercises using tunnels and small agility equipment.
Our Puppy class aims to offer a fun, stress free environment for the young puppy. It is an ideal starting point in preparing your puppy for both life in general and any further classes or training you might do. First vaccination must be completed and please follow veterinary advice. Booking essential to prevent overcrowding. We can be very busy so please don’t wait until your Puppy is ready to start before booking in. Contact us as soon as you get your Puppy, if not before, to ensure you can start as soon as vaccinations permit.
